These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FinXure website, application, and related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by FinXure, a personal finance service based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India ("FinXure", "we", "us", or "our").
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About FinXure
FinXure is a personal finance tracking and record-keeping tool. It helps you record, organise, and visualise your income, expenses, investments, loans, insurance, savings goals, and tax information, all in Indian Rupees (₹) and aligned to the Indian financial year (April–March).
FinXure is not a bank, broker, payment service, lender, or financial adviser. We do not hold or move your money, link to your bank accounts, or transact on your behalf.
Important — Not Financial Advice
FinXure is a record-keeping and informational tool only. Nothing in the Service — including the Smart Dashboard, Tax Planner, Smart Advisor, Analytics, health scores, or any tips, projections, or insights — constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. All figures are estimates based on the data you enter and general assumptions, and may not reflect your actual position. Always consult a qualified financial advisor, chartered accountant, or other licensed professional before making any financial decision. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you should have the consent of a parent or guardian before registering.
- You must provide accurate information and have the legal right to enter the data you record.
- By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Your Account and PIN
- You log in with a 4–6 digit numeric PIN. You are responsible for keeping your PIN and account secure and confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Do not share your individual account with anyone else. Each account is intended for a single user.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
- If you forget your PIN, you can reset it using the Forgot PIN link (a reset link is emailed and expires in 1 hour) or, for family members, via the Family Head in Family Settings.
4. Family Accounts
- A Family Head can create multiple member accounts under one household.
- Each member has their own PIN and their own separate data, and can see only their own finances.
- The Family Head may be able to reset a member's PIN from the Family Settings panel. By adding a member, the Family Head confirms they have that person's consent to create an account for them.
- You are responsible for the actions of accounts you create and manage.
5. The Demo Account
The live demo is a shared account containing fictional sample data, provided so you can explore the Service. Do not enter real personal or financial information into the demo. Anything entered into the demo may be visible to, or reset by, others and is not private.
6. Free and Pro Plans
- Free Plan: Access to core tracking features, subject to the entry limits shown in the app. No credit card required.
- Pro Plan: Additional features such as unlimited entries, advanced analytics, CSV export, reports, and Smart Advisor PRO. Billed via Razorpay on the cycle shown at checkout (e.g. monthly or annual).
- Plan features and pricing are shown in the app and may change. For existing paying subscribers, we will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change affecting their plan.
7. Payments, Renewals, and Refunds
- Payments for Pro are processed securely by Razorpay. FinXure does not store your card, UPI, or bank details.
- Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions may renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel before the next renewal to avoid further charges.
- Pro subscriptions are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
- For any billing issue, contact us within 7 days of the transaction and we will try to help.
8. Your Data
- The financial and personal data you enter belongs to you.
- You can export your data (JSON for all users; CSV for Pro users) and delete your account and data at any time.
- Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
- Attempt to access, tamper with, or interfere with other users' data, accounts, or our server infrastructure;
- Upload malicious files, malware, or attempt to exploit the document-upload or any other feature;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach any security or authentication measure, without authorisation;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, copy, or create derivative works from the Service, except as permitted by law;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
- Use the Service to store data you have no right to store, or to infringe anyone's rights.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.
10. Intellectual Property
The FinXure name, logo, software, design, features, and content (excluding the data you enter) are owned by the Operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal finance management. No other rights are granted.
11. Service Availability and Changes
- The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
- We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts the Service.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or that any data will never be lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important information (you can export your data at any time).
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any insight, calculation, or projection produced by the Service is accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinXure and the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or financial loss, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any financial decision made in reliance on information shown in the Service, or any loss or corruption of data.
To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ₹1,000.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FinXure and the Operator from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
15. Suspension and Termination
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the Service or other users.
- On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including data ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Significant changes will be announced via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-waivable consumer rights you may have, you agree that the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
18. General
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full force.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
- Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.
